It's Official!

Well, it's official! Bryan and I are having a boy!!! He is perfect and growing just the way he should be. We took Zach with us to our last ultrasound which was a trip in itself. He was very confused. Although he loved getting to see "baby J" on the TV screen, he though he was "coming out" that day as well. It's very difficult to explain the miracle of birth to a 2 year old. Now that we know that we are having a boy, we have lots of work to do to the nursery. It definitley needs a paint job!!!! Anyway, just though I would share the good news with everyone.

Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a good halloween! We did. Zach is still a bit too little to understand the whole trick-or-treating thing. We went to a couple of places where our families were to show off his adorable costume. Some how, he still ended up with a bag overflowing with halloween treats! He was a cowboy for halloween. He loved it! He has had to wear his cowboy boots everyday leading up to halloween since we bought them. He doesn't take them off except to get a bath and go to sleep! The costume is a collaboration of items. The hat is uncle Chunk's and Mimi made the vest and chaps. We reallt did have a good time though. Bryan and I were more tired from the night's events than Zach. Thought I would post some pictures of him showing off his costume!

Big brother....Who me?

Ok, I was going to try and wait until I had a picture to post with this, but I won't get that until October 1. So.....Zach is going to be a big brother. Yes, Bryan and I are going to have a baby. My due date is May 1, but the baby will be here about a week before then. We are not quite sure how Zach is going to respond. Sometimes, he seems extremely happy about it, and other times he just says "no"! He also says that "baby j" is in his tummy too! We'll see. He loves little babies, so he should be ok. I'll try to keep everyone posted, but I am not too good at this blog thing, but I'll try!

Sorry so long.....

I know it's been a long time since my last post, but we don't have mush to post about. We are headed off to the beach on Sunday for the week!!!! YEAH!!!! A much needed VACATION!!!! I will be sure to post some new pictures of Zach and Maggie at the beach. They both love the pool, so I know they will have a great time together.

Zach's 2 year pictures

Well, we went to Sears in Mobile today to have Zach's 2 year old pictures done. The gitl who took the pictures was really good. She was very patient with Zach. He wanted to pose the way he wanted to, not the way he was posed by the photographer. They turned out wonderful anyway. He was actually really good to day. He did tell her one time to hurry! He was getting tired. We got some really good pictures. I will try to post them all at some point, but for now, here are a few of my favorites.

New name

Well, mama changed the puppy's name becaue Zach wasn't callin him Noah. So, his new name is Humphrey Bogart Edge, and they call hom Bogey. Zach adores him! Bogey laid down with him yesterday and they both took a nap together. Mama didn't get a picture, but she promised she would next time. We go tomorrow got to get his 2 year pictures done. I will post some of them as soon as I get them.

Zach and Noah

I just wanted to say congrats to my sister and brother-in-law! They found out they are having a little BOY!!!!!! They have some getting tough to do. Little boys are rough and tough. I know they will be great at it though!!!! I know Maggie will be a wonderful big sister. I'm sure your first thought is Noah and the big boat.....but that's not what I'm talking about. My mom and dad got a new puppy today. It is a long haired yorkie. He is SO CUTE!!!! Zach just adores him. H ei sso glad he has a dog that will let him love on him. Mama let Zach name him, and of course....he names him Noah after his favorite Bible story. Here are a few pictures of Zach and Noah. Enjoy!!!!!

Welcome baby Mac!

Congratulations to my cousin Ashley and her husband Keith. They had their first baby late yesterday afternoon. Charles Mac, they will call him Mac, weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches long. Mom and baby are both doing great! I can't wait to meet the little guy!

Not much to tell

Not much going on here. We're just working and playing with Zach. He will be gone all next week, so we are spending as much time with him as we can before he leaves. He is getting so big. The whole potty training thing isn't going so well, but the sleeping in his "big boy" bed is getting better every night. He is even going to sleep without having to watch TV or anything now. He even sleeps all night there and sleeps until 6:30 or 7:00. It's great!!! We're actually looking at buying a vehicle in a little while. If anyone has any good ideas, I am definitely willing to listen. We would like an SUV, but we're looking around at all options. Hi everybody. I'm new to the actual blogging thing. I read other people's blogs all the time, so I thought I would try it too. I will try to keep up with stories and cute pics as best I can.
